Victoria Mowrer is a self-taught mixed media artist with a life-long passion for exploration, experimentation, and truth-seeking. The modest gourd has accompanied her as a muse and guide for many years, inspiring her most recent work: a book entitled, The Dreaming Gourd, about the stars, community and her beloved gourd companion. She dedicates this next year to artistic exploration, to counter-balance the precision demanded of writing and illustrating a book. She loves to dance.
